If you find something on the City-Bahn trains, you can either with the train personal or in our Customer centre deliver.

I have lost something

Lost property is in the customer centre and can be collected there. Report the lost item to the Customer service.

Items with an estimated current value of at least €15.00 and items of intangible value, such as photo albums or certificates, will be kept for you for six months. If no claim for return is made by then, the items will be destroyed or auctioned off.

Asserting passenger rights

If your train is delayed or cancelled, you can assert your rights against City-Bahn Chemnitz GmbH using the Passenger Rights form. All regulations and details can be found in the passenger rights.

You can return the completed form together with your original ticket:

You can apply for barrier-free travel directly via Deutsche Bahn's Mobility Service Centre (MSZ):

Where can I find the Chemnitz City-Bahn lost property office?

We accept found items there during opening hours or store your lost items. Contact us to report a lost item or to enquire about it.

Small animals in containers can be transported free of charge on the City-Bahn Chemnitz if they are accommodated in the passenger compartment. For animals outside of containers, a single ticket or a day ticket at the children's rate must be purchased. They may not be accommodated in a seat. Holders of monthly season tickets at the standard fare or 9 o'clock monthly season tickets can take a dog on the City-Bahn Chenitz free of charge.
