Customer advisor in local transport (m/f/d)
WHAT AWAITS YOU
- You are the first point of contact for our passengers and represent the City-Bahn Chemnitz.
- You inform and advise our customers on VMS and Deutsche Bahn fares, timetables and connections.
- You support and assist passengers in the event of disruptions, during replacement services and at major events, both on the train and on the platform.
- You help people with reduced mobility to get on and off the bus.
- You check tickets and also sell them in exceptional cases.
- You will support our team in looking after the ticket machines, distributing passenger information and carrying out quality surveys.
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
Do you live and breathe service and are you passionate about customer service? Are you a talented communicator who masters every challenging situation with flying colours? Can you hardly wait to defend order on our trains as if you were in your own living room and create a feel-good atmosphere? Then you're the perfect fit for City-Bahn!
- You have successfully completed your training or qualification as a train attendant or customer advisor in local transport and ideally have professional experience.
- You are medically fit to work as a customer advisor.
- You have a valid car driving licence and your own vehicle.
- You are very familiar with VMS and Deutsche Bahn fares.
- You have a very good command of German and basic English.
- A well-groomed, friendly and self-confident demeanour is a matter of course for you.
- You enjoy dealing with people and have a high degree of service orientation, a sense of responsibility, commitment, resilience, team spirit and empathy.
- You are no stranger to self-organisation and personal responsibility.
- You are prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays for our passengers.
- Wearing our company clothing is not an obligation for you, but a privilege.
