Book & Author
Anett Steiner
Born in Annaberg-Buchholz in 1976, Anett Steiner brings a genuine Erzgebirge flair to her writing. The multi-award-winning author – who has won the Chemnitz Crime Fiction Prize, amongst other honours – captivates readers with dark, mysterious stories in which the region’s past and legends come to life.
From the book: „Moorgold“
A mist-shrouded forest, old feuds and the legend of a fabled treasure: near the abandoned settlement of Pfaffengrün in the Ore Mountains, the remains of a man who has been missing for years are discovered. Shortly afterwards, an elderly minstrel dies in mysterious circumstances. Inspector Annalena Krest and Chief Inspector Lorenz take charge of the investigation in this seventh instalment of the series. The closer they get to the truth, the clearer it becomes: someone is prepared to kill again for the so-called ‘Moorgold’ …
