- C13/C14: Construction work - SEV between Meinersdorf and Burkhardtsdorf
- Capital of Culture Marathon: Timetable changes in the Chemnitz city area
Chemnitz - A construction site in Burkhardtsdorf and the Sparkassenmarathon on the occasion of the Capital of Culture 2025 will cause timetable deviations for the City-Bahn over the next few days.
The infrastructure operator is building a switch between Burkhardtsdorf and Meinersdorf. For this reason, rail replacement services (SEV) will run on this section from Monday, 19 May 2025 to Wednesday, 28 May 2025.
The buses run
- on the line C13 between Meinersdorf and Burkhardtsdorf and
- on the line C14 between Thalheim and Burkhardtsdorf.
⇒ Please note: Not all SEV bus stops are located directly next to the railway stations.
⇒ Attention: At the same time the C13 from Aue earlier than usual!

On Sunday, 18 May 2025, there will be disruptions to public transport in the city area due to the Sparkassenmarathon. Lines C11 and C14 will be affected. All information on routes and times can be found via the link above.
