Chemnitz - To the Hat festival in Chemnitz (30 May to 1 June 2025), the Zweckverband Verkehrsverbund Mittelsachsen (ZVMS) is ordering additional trips for lines C11 (Stollberg Chemnitz) and C14 (Chemnitz Thalheim section) from City-Bahn Chemnitz.
C11: On Saturday, the trains will extend the half-hourly service between Stollberg and Chemnitz into the evening. On Sunday, the trains run every 30 minutes from early in the morning until the evening.
The C11 usually runs every hour on Saturdays from 2.30 pm and on Sundays.
C14: The trains extend their hourly service between Chemnitz Technopark and Thalheim on Saturdays and run every hour on this section on Sundays. Together with the C13 line, which is already running, this results in a 30-minute interval during these periods.
Normally, the C14 only runs between Thalheim and Technopark every hour on Saturday mornings and afternoons, and not at all on Sundays.
