Chemnitz - After several months of line shortening, the Citylink regional light rail services on line C15 will run to Technopark again from Monday, 2 March 2026. Since the end of November 2025, the line from Hainichen has ended in Chemnitz Central Station.
By renting two vehicles for the City-Bahn fleet (see PM 3/2025), regular service can now be resumed on line C15, meaning that the line will once again serve the Chemnitz city area and run through to Technopark.
City-Bahn Managing Director Friedbert Straube: „I am delighted that C15 is running the entire line again. I would like to thank all passengers for their patience.“
